Description

Panadol Caplets with OPTIZORB formulation is a smart choice. It starts to break down in just 7 minutes, to be absorbed 25% faster than regular Panadol Tablets, whilst being effective on pain and still gentle on stomachs.

Treatment	Pain Relief
Active Ingredients	Paracetamol 500mg (Each Caplet contains: 500mg Paracetamol. No gluten, lactose or sugar) Contains: Contains hydroxybenzoates as preservatives.
Instructions	12 years – Adult: 1-2 every 4-6 hours with water as required (maximum 8 Caplets in 24 hours). 7 – 12 years: ½-1 every 4-6 hours with water as required (maximum 4 Caplets in 24 hours)

Warnings

Stop use and see your doctor immediately if you have an allergic skin reaction, shortness of breath or wheezing after taking Panadol.

Do not use Panadol

If you are allergic to paracetamol or hydroxybenzoates.
If using other medicines containing paracetamol.
For children below age 7, except on medical advice.
For more than 48 hours for children aged 7-17 except on medical advice.
For more than a few days at a time in adults except on medical advice.
If any of the seals on this packaging are broken.
If the package use-by date below has expired.
Until you read the enclosed leaflet carefully.

Ask a doctor before use
– If you have liver or kidney problems.
– If you are taking warfarin (a medicine used to thin the blood).

Keep out of reach of children.

Do not exceed the recommended dose. Excessive use can be harmful and increase the risk of heart attack, stroke or liver damage.

Do not use if the blister foil is broken on first opening.

While using this product
If an overdose is taken or suspected, ring the Poisons Information Centre (AUST: 13 11 26; NZ 0800 764 766) or go to the hospital immediately, even if you feel well because of the risk of delayed, serious liver damage if left untreated. Keep to the recommended dose.

Contraindications & Cautions
Always read the label and use only as directed. Before Use: Seek medical advice if: You have asthma or are taking other medicines containing ibuprofen, aspirin or other anti-inflammatory medicines. You are taking medication regularly or are 65 years or over. Children suffering from dehydration through diarrhoea and/or vomiting.
